commentary.jpgWe deliver two new exhibits for the Western Australian Museum’s new Howzat! exhibition.

In an exhibition that celebrates our love of the gentleman’s game, GMG was asked to provide two exhibits for inclusion.

We built a crowds and spectators animation that makes use of Dean Alston’s cartoons of cricket crowd behaviour (streakers, beer mug snakes, and inflatable bouncing balls). This was a Flash animation that randomly played one of the sequences every now and then. The look on peoples faces when the streaker came out was priceless!

The second piece was a commentators box. You get to see Thommo (Micheal Thomson of Channel 9) introducing a piece of cricketing history of Justin Langer magic with professional Channel 9 commentary. Thommo then invites you to watch it again and record your own commentary. We record it and you get to listen to your effort!

All delivered in Flash. (Okay we had a little help from GTech’s Geoff Grubb to build the hardware and interface it to Flash!)
