We’ve built a simple snakes and ladders for the World of Energy that lets their younger site visitors have a little fun while learning basic power safety.

This is a two player game of snakes and ladders, but the ladders are safety ladders and the snakes are dangerous, sparking power cords!

Each round, the kids are presented with safety tips. If they land at the foot of a ladder or the exposed end of a power cord they have to answer a safety question instead.

They are allowed to go up a ladder if they get the answer right.

They may also avoid going down a power cord by answering the safety question correctly.
